OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Occupational therapy is focused on helping people of all ages perform daily tasks and live as independently as possible. It works to improve or restore physical, sensory, or cognitive abilities by using everyday activities and modifying the environment to overcome barriers that affect a person's ability to participate in life roles. The goal is to promote health, well-being, and function through the activities, or "occupations," that matter to the individual.
